There are twelve tribes at Kelly Lake COGIC. These Tribes are headed by Care Group Leaders who serve as extensions of the pastor. After becoming a member of the church, members are assigned to one of the twelve Tribes. As representatives of the pastor it is the responsibility of the Care Group Leader to care for and serve their assigned members. Some of the activities of the Care Group Leaders are to check on members who have been absent from church, to check on and/or visit sick and shut-in members, to provide spiritual and emotional support to members in times of distress ,such as the lost of a loved one, and assist in bringing members into full participation of the mission and program of the church. Tribes provide fellowship opportunities for members and meet at least once each quarter. The Care Group Leaders for Kelly Lake COGIC are as follows:
